The close connection between art and consumer culture can be traced back to 1962, when Andy Warhol turned 32 cans of Campbell soup into a work of art. No wonder then that this year, for next winter, fashion (as a close relative to art) turns once more to the symbols of consumerism in order to make its colorful point - either as an ode to the shrine of fast food (Jeremy Scott for Moschino) or by turning the catwalk into a supermarket aisle full of fashionable products, as Kaiser Karl did at Chanel.
