A dress for Marion

Στα κόκκινα χαλιά που έχουν στρωθεί για το κινηματογραφικό φεστιβάλ των Καννών έχουμε ήδη δει άπειρα φορέματα: Μάξι και εντυπωσιακά ή μίνι και λαμπερά. Έχουμε επίσης δει ολόσωμες φόρμες, ακόμη και κουκούλες! Ωστόσο, το πιο ασυνήθιστο φόρεμα, μακράν, φορέθηκε από την αγαπημένη Marion Cotillard. Είναι δημιουργία του οίκου Maison Martin Mergiela και είναι εξ ολοκλήρου φτιαγμένο από... μικροαντικείμενα! Σύμφωνα με τον οίκο, τα μικροαντικείμενα αυτά συλλέχθηκαν από flea markets στο Παρίσι και τις Βρυξέλλες, ενώ για την παραγωγή του ρούχου χρειάστηκαν 67 ώρες! Ηθικό δίδαγμα: Ας αρχίσουμε να σκεφτόμαστε πιο εναλλακτικά για το τι είναι "glamour" και σίγουρα θα βγούμε κερδισμένες...

The red carpet at the Cannes film festival has already produced many, many, marvelous looks: Impressive maxi dresses, shiny minis, even jumpsuits and hoods, they have all made a very formal appearance. Yet, the most impressive dress so far has been worn by the lovely Marion Cotillard, and it is a dress made entirely out of small objects! It is a creation by the avant-garde fashion house Maison Martin Margiela. According to them, the items used for the dress were sourced in flea markets in Paris and Brussels, and it took 67 hours to produce this unique item of clothing. So girls, now is the time to start thninking outside the box when it comes to glamour - as you can see, it certainly pays off!
