Mood of the Moment: The 90s
Για όσες από εμάς μεγαλώσαμε μέσα στα 90s, θέλαμε να ξεχάσουμε πολλά από τα πράγματα που φορέσαμε τότε – από τις ολόσωμες φόρμες, μέχρι το πετροπλυμένο denim. Κι όμως, το comeback των nineties στα fashion πράγματα είναι μια πρώτης τάξεως ευκαιρία -για όλες μας, και για τις νεότερες- να θυμηθούμε όλα τα όμορφα της δεκαετίας: από τον μινιμαλισμό μέχρι το grunge. Ήταν μια ωραία εποχή, λοιπόν – και φέτος θα είναι ακόμη ωραιότερη, αφού τα nineties συναντιούνται με τη σύγχρονη άποψη για το τι είναι “chic”. “Smells like teen spirit”? Γιατί όχι;
For those of us who grew up in the nineties, that was a time that we tried very hard to forget – stonewashed denim and overalls included. Yet, the comeback of that decade and fashion’s obsession with anything from the nineties is a very good chance -for all of us, even those who were born then- to remember all the pretty things, such as minimalism and grunge chic. So it definitely was a good time, and this year it’s going to be even better, worn from a modern, refreshing point of view. “Smells like teen spirit”? Why not?
