British heritage fashion brand Burberry has expanded its London flagship store at 121 Regent Street with an exclusive space dedicated to gifts and an in-house café, Thomas's.
Thomas's café in Burberry's expanded Regent Street store - Burberry
The café is open 7 days a week and offers an entirely British menu, with seasonal products from local producers, with classics such as English tea and lobster and chips.
The extension, which opened this spring, celebrates the best of British know-how and places Burberry among the increasing number of fashion brands and stores that are focusing on diversifying their offer with restaurants and cafés, like Maison Kitsuné and Ralph Lauren, which just opened a restaurant in New York.
The Burberry café is exclusive to the Regent Street store, which first opened in 2012, and so far there are no plans to roll it out to other flagships.
